A little disk to solve big problems.
The Hole Troll® lets you center andenlarge a hole or cut a new hole with or without a pilot bit. It eliminates workaround and repair time, minimizes materials waste or damage, and can reduce risk of injury.
There's nothing better for cutting a (new) 4" hole over a (existing) 3" hole.

I work with double walled sheet metal where I only want a hole through one side, so hole saw bits are a problem. I just pop the bit out of my hole saw, stick the (Hole Troll) on and get cutting.

I'm always surprised at the things I find myself using Hole Trolls for, and by how much time and money I must have spent trying to get broken (hole saw) arbors apart.

Had a challenging situation with replacing the lock on a new door and only was able to put a precise located new hole in a slightly offset location because of this cool tool! Not sure what I would have done without it. (5/5 stars)

I needed to drill through stucco, behind an electrical junction box. To use a pilot bit, I would have drilled right into the box. The Hole Troll allowed me to use my hole saw without the pilot bit. Great product... Thanks. (5/5 Stars)

I have a new marble countertop and the holes to the faucet were off center by ⅝”. I didn’t want the hole saw bit to jump around on the marble. I ordered the Hole Troll guide (arrived the next day) and centered it perfectly where I wanted it with double sided tape. Worked like a charm while cutting over a partial hole. I would recommend the Hole Troll for your next project. (5/5 Stars)

I was switching AC input outlets from Park Power/Marinco to Noco and needed to increase the hole by a 1/4". I placed the old rubber cover over the plastic and marked the old mounting holes on the plastic piece. I drilled 3 holes and then screwed the plastic hole saw guide to the boat. Then I proceeded to drill the required 2" hole for the Noco AC input. Drilled through the plastic guide then into the fiberglass, cutting the sliver needed to make the Noco fit. Worked great and I have 5 guides left for any future need. (5/5 Stars)

"I needed to enlarge the hole in a door to fit a new lock. I was afraid I would damage the door if my hole saw slipped and create a huge expense and bigger project. All went smoothly with the Hole Troll as my MVP. I didn't break a sweat and the job was done in a snap. Great idea! Thank you."
The Hole Troll earned 2023 and 2024 Pro Tool Innovation Awards (PTIA). The guide enables a mounted hole saw to be quickly centered and used over existing holes or in scenarios when a pilot bit is missing, broken or undesired.
The Hole Troll is a brilliant product to keep in your toolbox that can help you enlarge existing holes with far less frustration. Center the guide over the hole, fasten it in place (nails, screws, hot glue, and other options all work), line up your hole saw with the groove you need to cut, and pull the trigger. There’s no need for a pilot bit—the Hole Troll keeps you in line and stable. With a 6-pack costing just under $20, there’s no reason not to have the Trolls working on your side for once.
